The specialization on Logistics Systems Engineering and Implementation aims to prepare students for initiating, managing and evaluating processes for engineering and implementing logistics systems. In this context, logistics systems are material handling systems (including related automation systems), transport systems, and logistics management and control systems. Students are enabled to specify system requirements and to develop, evaluate and select appropriate technical solutions best fulfilling those requirements. Special focus is put on teamwork, communication processes, leadership and project management in the context of physical system design and implementation or information system specification, selection and implementation.
