Program Structure
The two year programme is divided into four semesters.
First year
Semesters 1 and 2
common for all students
The first year focuses on basic knowledge, core, and fundamentals of logistics and supply chain management.
- 1st semester at Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain)
- 2nd semester at Riga Technical University (Latvia)
All students move from Barcelona to Riga during the period between semesters.
Second year
Semesters 3 and 4
specialisation
The second year aims at going deeper into a specialization directly related to a university’s core competences and ensuring a close link to its research and consultancy project activities. It is divided into two parts:
- 3rd semester of focused course work
- 4th semester of Master Thesis work

A consortium-member university offers a specialization based on its relative profile concerning Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Riga Technical University (RTU)
Logistics information systems focusing on supporting logistics and supply chain management by integrated IT solutions
Technical University of Applied Science Wildau (UASW)
Logistics systems engineering and implementation focusing on the analysis, design, evaluation, and implementation of materials handling, transport, and logistics management and control systems
